6 years ago, Jaime Prater reached out to Philip and after many conversations on The Dark Crystal and our passion for filmmaking, they decided to try and produce a feature length documentary called “The Great Conjunction: The Legacy of The Dark Crystal”.
We would’ve explored the making of the film but also the passion behind the fans and how the film became a huge influence in their lives, travelling around the world for interviews and much more.
In 2015, we attempted a crowdfunding campaign for the documentary on Indiegogo though it was unsuccessful and decided to cancel the project off.
Now with the release of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, thought it’ll be great to show the pitch video that was created.

We both would love to revisit doing the film with the resurgence of the franchise due to the success of The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance.
