A Dark Crystal themed convention from Thames Con is happening on February 8th 2020 and they have announced their first special guest of appearance and its none other than the voice of Jen, Stephen Garlick.

Introducing our first guest STEPHEN GARLICK the voice of JEN, the kind and courageous Gelfling Hero.
Stephen’s soft and inquisitive voice helped create the perfect character for The Dark Crystals male lead.
Stephen Garlick is a British Actor who has provided many voices for radio, TV commercials and films. In 1973, Stephen played the role of Ned in the second series of The Adventures of Black Beauty. He also appeared in another film for the Children’s Film Foundation in 1975 called The Hostages. A year later he played an alien called Kwaan in the Thames Television sci-fi series The Tomorrow People. He played the part of Tim Moffat in the controversial six-part serial, Two People, for London Weekend Television. One of his more notable television appearances was as John Standen, the son of a duplicitous business man Ted Standen (Gareth Hunt) in the Minder episode The Son Also Rises in which he appeared with fellow Corona boy Dennis Waterman. Stephen also played Ibbotson in the Doctor Who story, Mawdryn Undead.[9] Other TV appearances include Lovejoy and The Bill.
