BFI Southbank in London, England will have a world premiere public screening of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance on August 22nd 2019, 8 days before its release on August 30th 2019 on Netflix.

“The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance returns to the world of Jim Henson’s beloved 1982 movie with a brand new, epic adventure set before the events of the iconic movie. This world premiere public screening of the brand new Netflix series, alongside an exhibition of puppets and props from the film, will be followed by a Q&A with the creators.”

Due to popular demand for the screening, they have opened a ballot for Champion and Members of BFI that you can now register for two free tickets at https://bfiforms.wufoo.com/forms/bfi-membership-exclusive-ticket-ballot/
Be quick though as the ballot will close at 12:00am (British Summer Time) on 7th July.
I’m not too sure what it means for general audience, though if you want a greater chance to attend the screening, you need to be a Champion or a Member.
