Boom Studios have released their solicitation for comic book releases from January 2020.
With The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance 12 issue comic book series telling three stories in four issues each, Issue #4 being the conclusion of The Quest for the Dual Glaive. Issue #5 is a start of a new arc featuring our favourite podling Hup!
What’s interesting is that there’s new creative team with the comics, with Nicole Andelfinger and Matias Basla departing after Issue #4, so I’m presuming that we’ll also have new creative team of writer and illustrator once we get to Issue #8 with a new arc presumingly be a story of the All-Maudra.
I like that we’re getting different writers and artists on board with Dark Crystal comics and can’t wait to read Hup’s adventures before the events of the show.
